In a buttered baking dish arrange apple slices and sprinkle with lemon. Stir together sugar, flour, oats and spices. Using fingertips, blend in butter.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Beat eggs lightly then add in pumpkin puree, sugar, spices, salt and cream.
Core apples to make space for the filling while leaving the bottom intact.
