Apple Crisp
Ingredients
6 cups of peeled and sliced apples
1 tbsp lemon juice
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 cup of all purpose flour
2/3 cup rolled oats
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
1/3 cup butter
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
In a buttered baking dish arrange apple slices and sprinkle with lemon.
Stir together sugar, flour, oats and spices. Using fingertips, blend in butter.
Sprinkle over apples in dish.
Bake for 30 minutes (or until apples are soft, time varies depending on the variety of apples used)
Serve with ice cream or 35% cream.
